Broken to to.. Happy ******* new year..

Post by MrP »

Went out to my car this morning to go to the gym, opened the car and the alarm went straight off. Hmm I though that's weird, Whys my glovebox open and all my stuff on the passenger seat... Ahhhhhh! Noooooooooooooo!

Image

As you can see the little chavs have put a screwdriver or similar to the lock and open the car that way. They've broken the glovebox and took my stereo. Gutted. Luckily nothing else and the car wasn't attempted to be stolen. So All parts can be replaced quite easily.

What baffles me is how I didn't wake up as you can see how close the car is to my bedroom window.

It's actually a very sad state of affairs that I am so used to this now I'm just not that bothered. I've become de-sensitised to getting robbed. (It still wouldn't stop me knocking 10 bells of s**t out of them if I caught them.)

I've got to the point with this car that I've had enough and as soon as the MOT is renewed It's getting sold. There is nothing wrong with the car and I love it, but hate it so much. It's the best worse car I've ever owned.

s**t man :( that sucks! Feel for you bro.

Im amazed they managed to get the lock out. Normally the freefall mechanism would work and the paddle would just snap rending the cylinder useless :(

They didn't.. It was pushed in. No idea how they got in really. It looks like a professional job. Very minimal damage and non to the dashboard whatsoever. Even the glovebox was done very well. I'd say pro's with correct tools for the job if you ask me. I've had a good 5-7 cars broken into and this was the cleanest most efficient job I've seen. I still want to punch them until they stop crying.

Man, that really sucks :( it infuriates me that there are still such petty people in this world. Theft ain't cool.

Wish I could do something to help!
