Rear Wiper Failure?

hi all the rear wiper on my moms polo has stopped working i checked the fuses over quickly couldnt see a blown fuse, but just a quicky does anyone know what fuse it would actually be? and any other fault?

The conectors may be corroded a bit. If not get a multi meter and check that. I'm not special at electrics really

g_humm do you or anyone else have a clue what amp the fuse could be so i can give it a thorough going over?

It's a 10A fuse (I think)....one of the red ones anyway. Mine packed up when I reversed last year and my wiper was frozen to the rear screen. New fuse and it came back to life. I'd go check, but car's in the garage and I can't be bothered to get it out :lol:

well it happened in the cold mate so im hoping its just the fuse as my horn went over the cold

come across a tricky one here guys first of all my mothers polo is a 9n 1.4 s mines a 9n tdi sport the fuses are slightly different i think from what i saw and then i was a pleb and dropped a 4 amp (purple) fuse that was in the top left?
and by the way does anyone know how to use these fuse cards are they supposed to show you the location because i couldnt understand it at all lol

I think the fuse card is reflected, from memory, which makes it hard to figure out what goes where until you understand it.

Got a picture of the card and the box?

im laughing at myself right now last night i checked that fuse didnt appear to be anything wrong with it when to put it back in it fell down behind the fuse board or what ever you call it, changed the fuse i lost it worked :)
dont know why my mothers is a 4 amp fuse but it worked thanks Yorks and others :D
