9n Alloy sizes

Post by Ladiesman_317 »

Hi, im after Montreal 2's for my 9n 1.4 16v, so i looked on ebay and i found a nice set with "205 55 16" tyres, just wondering, will these tyres cause any trouble, like rubbing on full lock? Also, what is the ET and PCD for monty 2's?
Oh, and my car isnt lowered.
Thanksss.

hi, i recently got these exact ones, montys with the same tyres 205 55 16, think they came off a golf mk4 and they gave me loads of rubbing on the inner arches of my polo 9n. changed the tyres over to lower profiles 205 45 16 and this resolved the rubbing.

Mine a gt too and has them with 45's, 55's are huuuge! But if it ain't lowered they'll probably just fill the arch a bit more...

I'm running the 16" monzas and they're running 205 45 16s, no rubbing, not lowered, definitely get 45s not 55s, 55s are for the golf!
