Hey people just wondered if anyone has used these coilovers before? i fit mine the other day and also the mondeo drop links. However when she goes over bumps the driveshafts fouling on the anti-roll bar leaving a nice ring around it. Exceptionally bad juju!
Any ideas on what i can do guys and gals im slightly stuck??

isnt that the whole point of having the shorter droplinks to stop it catching the arb? maybe u got the wrong drop links

Could be a gsf fail to be honest he said there were two types but only difference was one were metal the other plastic so naturally i went for the metal ones? maybe that was where its all gone wrong! Though they obvs were shorter then the gti ones as they do clear when driving flat just when she hits a bump i think!

Try VMaxx d-links, from what I can gather they are a touch shorter than the Mondeo ones so you should get a little extra clearance for the arb! Just make sure they fit though as I have heard that KW, Weitec and a couple of others have higher struts therefore negating the need for a shorter droplink.

well if the stadard drop links were undrivable then i guess i definately need short as i can get. joke is coilovers are only wound half way down got so much more low to go! Its a bit of a joke. Im half tempted to phone venom (who i purchased them through) and start making demands! Direct replacement my arsecrack

i got mine from car craft. when i went there were 2 both were a difference size and both were metal. maybe you got the wrong ones. one was the same size as the one on the polo. the other was around an inch shorter. i got them both compared them and then took the correct one. see if you can do that. you dont need the venom ones the mondeo ones work fine.

the ones ive got on are an inch shorter then the polo ones! I had a measure up before i fit them. hmmmm epicly poo this is i cant drive the car and ive only just got it back on the road

problem temporarily fixed thanks to a cutting disc and a welder lol. shortened droplinks, diy style.
