Looking at that web site, mine is 16V spec, but a 75BHP engine. It has all the trimmings, including A/C and CD from factory.
It is so confusing, VW have so many inconsistent trims that no one knows what they have. The only true way to know is to look at the chassis label in the boot and decode the optional extra codes.
I didn't even know I was getting a 16V engine, until I looked under the bonnet and got a pleasant suprise.
So far I have noticed a couple of inconsistent trims.
1) some cars have delayed interior lighting some do not.
2) some say the engine size on the back, some do not.
And this is for the same car, the same year, the same trim. I think the guys in the production line go for a pee sometimes, and that is why you sometimes get something missing.

Not so confusing!

1)None of the MK 5 SE Polos that I have sold, which is over 250 have had delayed interior light. So far I have noticed a couple of inconsistent trims.
1) some cars have delayed interior lighting some do not.
2) some say the engine size on the back, some do not.
2)Only the 75BHP 16 Valve should have a chrome 1.4 badge on the boot, some do not have them becouse they have the boot lid repaired/sprayed or the person at the factory was having a pee.
