Yeah was speaking to the guy I bought my wheels off and he has the latest Polo, had factorry fitted flaps front and rear fitted, and he said he's taken off the front ones as they keep scraping in carparks etc. Getting rubber ones though so fingers crossed! :D

If you're only lowering it 35mm you should be okay with plastic ones anyway.
Coilies are always a safe buy though ;) means you can get the height you want later on if you decide to go lower.
Alot of people buy springs then end up buying coilies later on

Got my new engraved "VW POLO SPORT" tax disc holder in brushed aluminium today, to replace the tacky plastic holder than comes from most dealers.

And also got the chrome handle set from VAGLiNK today too, and just fitted them :)

I love the door handles, look perfect compliment to numberplate surrounds and chroome exhaust tip. Thoughts + comments please :)

Also ordered a set of mudflaps as the car is getting dirty very quickly as I'm doing quite a few miles at the moment...but didn't just want the standard plain black ones so got the ones from VAGLiNK which have "POLO" and the VW Logo imprinted on them. Can't wait to get them fitted...

Not sure on the rear boot handle in chrome, looking good otherwise, like that tax disc holder, might get one for mine, seeing as it is an actual Sport

EDIT: I've not installed the chrome boot handle. Prefer it blue to give smoother look to the boot.

Personally not a fan of the chrome one bit. It looks tacky imo, but each to their own :)

Personally, I think it'll look better with the door handles colour coded.

Ash :)

Chrome wasn't that cheap, feels quality not tacky, and was cheaper than colour coding, however, in the long run, when funds allow, it will be colour coded.

surely the funds that went into the chrome could have been saved and put into the colour coding fund bringing it closer to happening?waste imo

as much as im not a fan of the chrome handles either i dont think out right slagging it down is needed, if he thinks it looks good then thats what matters, im sure you dont style your motor on what others think?

I think that the door handles look alright to be honest. Not really a fan of the boot one as it looks a bit out of place IMO, I think it looks better colour coded on the boot but the door handles break the door up nicely.

Maybe delock the boot in the future? Looks loads better than the rubbish standard keyhole...

Chrome's a love hate things. I really don't like chrome that much, which is why my badges are black, but it works on certain cars, still looks good
