Here's a quick shot of the PGTI boot spoiler:

Re: MeTsU's 9N3 TDi - Sooty from South Africa
Not much in terms of an update...
I organised a new vbelt & tensioner, had them replaced today by my local dealer, ahead of my trip with *SamStaR* to Cape Town for the U2 concert. There was a bearing type noise on idle and worsened when the AC was on - the belt tended to slip slightly when blipping the throttle.
We also decided to replace the alternator pulley, as the clutch in it was starting to go, and it would cause a knock on effect to the next vbelt tensioner. A big thank you to my very good friend Darren for looking after Sooty whilst at the dealer, as well looking after me when it came to the bill!
Sooty's super smooth on idle and with the AC on now.

I was asked the following by a forum member on my local VW forum:

Migs, the bumper is waiting patiently - although I am most certainly not! All the necessary parts have arrived and are sitting in a very neat pile. Here's a photo from the weekend, I was fiddling about - I had to play a little, as it's incredibly difficult seeing the boxes there and knowing I need to wait a bit more.BIGMIG wrote:hows your cup bumper coming along
