under stereo cd changer...... mk5 polo 6n2

right-o guys, probably a basic question, but im totaly stumped!!

basically the mrs has just bought a w plate 6n2 1.4 polo, which has a cd changer under the stereo (dash mounted) but how the hell does it work!?

the manual says press the select button to light the cd changer part, but that doesn't do anything, just goes back to where it was! it will gladly play one cd, but we don't know how to add the other 5 into it lol.

any help appreciated people!!

I dont know if its any simlar to my 9n, but mine has 6 numbers for the discs, a load button, and an eject button, press the load button then whichever disc tray you want it in, and then attempt to insert the disc, thats how mine works but dont know if its the same as yours or not

same with mine.... except the W reg 6n2 doesnt have a load button. it has a "select button"
i would like to know how to work it aswel... any help?

i tired pressing it (the select button) and then press 2/3/4/5 or 6 .. all that happens is that the CD CHANGER light blinks and thts it!

i know its an old thread but i can only presume you have the single cd player if it doesnt have a load button! ive got a 6 in dash cd player for sale
