Looking Good Craig!
I would probably go for black on the insert so the chrome stands out more, either black or something like gun metal.

Even chrome needs polishing from time to time but it stays looking mirror fresh for a long time.
You can get special chrome polish if need be, most classic car owners use it on their bumpers & headlight surrounds

Wheels look lovely dude, you say chrome have they been chrome plated or mirror polished?.Not so keen on the aerial,it looks fly as but i don't think the shape will suit the Polo too well.Still credit for doing something alittle different, cars getting abit bling now ay  .

Chrome anodized buddy. Yeah silvo works well on chrome I work with old cars allay long lol...

I hate the oem stubby vag Ariel it looks to tall as this one is slimline n different....

Cars coming along nice I'm all happy, looking at some very expensive bolts for my engine bay atm n some tamper proof bolts for my wheel centers as I don't want little buggers thieving em now...

Re: Trotta's progress thread *OMG. 5 QUID BOLTS HA. *

Post by Bradley »

Fair play mate.

Id recommend getting bolts from Pro-Bolt they have been great on lots of things ive used them on.£5 a bolt,it's expensive stuff my push bike has 99% of the bolts made of Titainium that wasn't cheap.Just be careful using Anodised aluminium bolts don't use them for anything that requires a great value of strength as they're brittle.

Yeah tasty nuts is where I'm getting them from mate and it is pro bolt that supply em....

The aluminum bolts will be more than strong enough for the wings but I might go for stainless steel insted as I want them polished I think or black, I dunno ha.
