I had the 9n3 GTI backbox in my old 1.2 9n with the GTI rear valence. Although it didnt sounded totaly like a GTI but still had that bit of grunt
Also if you decide to go for the GTI one you'll need a reducer pipe.

ah sweet mate, where did u get it all from and how much did you pay ? this is what i want i just dont no where i can get one
Be interested in this too if you could give us a price on what you expect to pay etc. Although happy with my twin-tip trim asthetically at the moment, wouldn't mind a real back box
The GTI backbox was expensive and has gone up over the year from what i have noticed. I payed about £125 for one year ago and my mate got one three months ago costed close to the £200 mark, could be wrong. I will get the part number in the morning as I'll need to have a look underneath my backbox for the number. The valence was about £50 iirc.

They can be parchased from VW or TPS.
Ah wicked cheers mate I hope they are more like 125 haha !! Would love it if somebody has one going second hand ?
Please someone see this thread who has a Gti backbox for sale
If you wanted to save a bit of money I guess you could always just cut a new recess in the standard valence to save buying the GTi valence as well as the backbox...depends on the look you want I guess mate!
I have seen threads where people just leave the standard valance and they say it is alright, if your gna get it though might aswell do it properly, shame about the price, gtegperkins picked up a back box for £35 for his 6n2 !!
