So far i have fitted a set of FK coilovers, forge 007p recirc valve, k&n 57i induction kit, Powdercoated wheels anthracite, JVC Double DIN DVD headunit, JBL sub and amp, Random assortment of stickers and since the pics i've had the front plate recess smoothed.

Cheers for the good comments. Will get some pics up this weekend of the smooth front end. Been meaning to do get some for ages for other forums.
The wheels are the standard gti wheels made by ronal. You can probably get replicas nowadays.
And I hope it wasn't for sale haha!

Oh right haha, yeh would look smart on a white one i think!

And its well worth it! looks alot nicer with the plate off and it all nice and smooth. What other bits are you having smoothed?
And i made two L shape brackets which screw into the lower grill so its just a case of unscrewing it for shows and screwing it back on for the drive home  saves messing around with sticky tabs!

Cool! should look sweet! was tempted to do all the bump strips aswell but didnt know how it would look (can sometimes look too plain)
Yeh i just found two brackets in the garage, araldite'd them onto the plate and put two small holes through the top slat of the lower grill. got it so it sits slighthly over the grill so it doesnt restrict air flow but you can see the smoothing. Dont know if id be keen on them suction cups they always seem to fall off unless they're the big lever ones like on sat navs.
