Another new member!

Post by mt8 »

Just come across this website by accident, looks very informative and looking forward to sharing thoughts on the new polo with you all.

I have just taken delivery,( 5 weeks ago ), of my white 1.2 tsi sel 3dr polo with the following options:-

17 inch boavista alloys, multi function steering wheel, cornering fog lights and sunroof which unfortunately put three months on the delivery/build time as ordered last july.

I have to say though that the roof was worth waiting for as it sets the car off a treat with the black surround around the glass section.

i have just had the rear windows tinted by ultimate tints and it looks awesome, have just had the door sills and boot sill measured to have some venture shield protection film applied - miles cheaper than vw guards and less noticeable too. For the future would like to fit a stainless tail pipe -not sure where to get this from yet and possibly looking into getting it lowered as it sits quite high, not sure to go down the lowering springs route or coilovers.Lastly some form of bluetooth as not an option when ordered.

I have to say that the 1.2 tsi engine is a corker and bar the small lag at low revs it really does feel like a much bigger engine, has anybody looked into or actually done, chipping this engine yet?

Look forward to your thoughts/ comments on my future plans for this car.
