Foglights for 9N

Would anyone happen to know if the foglights from a 9n3 would fit on to a 9n
Just that I have found a rear ended 9n3 at the local scrappy

Yes mate they will fit, but you will need different grills for the 9n as the 9n3 front end (inc all the grills/bumpers) are different. You can pick up some replacement 9n fog grills off eBay for not too much.... but make sure you get the loom off the 9n3 too as that can be expensive to buy from VW (relatively).

Also to run the foglights on a car without them, you will have to fashion and fit a seperate switch, or the better option is probably to buy an OE headlight switch from VW//off the 9n3 your using which has the foglight option (pulls out twice, first click is fronts, second click is front and rear). The non-front fogs models just have one click (rear fog). I guess you could just attach the wiring from the front fogs to the rear one so they both come on at the same time, but often you won't need the back one when you do need the frons (and no I'm not suggeting you drive around with the front fog lights on just because it looks "cool" haha!)

I've got the switch off the 9n3 and found some new foglights on eBay for £50 but they are from HK, so a little sceptical.

Found a guide on here for retrofitting the fogs, getting the loom from the scrappy will cost a small fortune I'm guessing.

Will keep you guys posted
