dropped off the car yesterday at the mechnic needed a few jobs doing one of which was the replacement of the rear wishbone bushes. ordered the part via part number off the forum (6LL 407 183)
he says they are the wrong part i explained they are an upgraded version of the original bushes. he said they are the wrong fitment
i have a 2003 polo 1.4 tdi twist
can anyone advise?

Your mechanics talking crap or alteast hasnt done one in the past.
The cupra bush will fit both 9N and 9N3 100% as I had them in my 9N and now in the new 9N3 GTI. They do look a bit small in camparison to the crappy standard ones but
will fit no problem.
If your mechanics not confident about fitting them then better looking somewhere else.

am i right in thinking that these cupra bushes are from the ibiza and not the leon,and is that the gen. seat part no. and also,how much are they?......i`ve recently joined the vw ranks with a 1.9tdi sport which is in dire need of these replacing.thanks.

Yes mate its from the IBIZA cupra range and also a genuine part number so can only be purchased from a seat or VAG parts dealer.onlydiesels wrote:bump..bump.. can anyone help out on this one please
They cost roughly about £11 incl vat
