hi fokes had my pd130 hooked up to vagcom and was wondering if u could help me out? here were my fault codes
01598 - drive battery voltage
07-10 - signal to low intermitent
01218 - side airbag ignitor resistance to high
01228 - airbag cut off switch
17965 - charge pressure positive deviation
p1557-35-00
my car is a 54 plate polo GT with the pd130 engine, which has been remapped
the car keeps going into limp mode at peak revs/power in 4th gear, i took my intercooler to egr pipe off to inspect the egr valve and it was fine harly any build up just some oil. the clip which held the pipe in place on the egr had snapped which did allow movement for the pipe, i have since replaced the clip but havent given it another blast since.
thats all the info i can think of at the moment but any help and advice about the above would be very apprecieted
jonny

punch the codes into the search function on the above link. gives a bit more info on what the possible causes are.

very helpfull like there mate thanks alot
Re: My vag com results
couple of educated guesses at common symptoms, MAF, N75, can cause the boost pressure positive deviation
if it reads overboost for longer than what it deems acceptable it will throw it into limp, ie 4th gear you'll probably be in longer with the foot down than say 2nd or 3rd, annoying though it may be at least its saving the engine for you
until you sort the problem
