That's okay, I can wait... Lol, I just love them with the red stitching :)

Well I only say it when I mean it :p

I was thinking about putting a build thread up but it would be very slow progress as I have a s**t job at the moment and can't offord to buy stuff,
I might do one anyway :) and just update it whenever I get stuff, just thought it would bore people...

Had a little tinker time with the old olop today. Fitted the new 9n3 handbrake sleeve which looks good. Cheers for that one Nigel :)

Also been experimenting with the cold air feed for the CDA. Cut a smallish hole behind the grill and put the pipe there. The first thing i have noticed is that its a lot quieter as it doesn't resonate in the arch :(

(Is a lot tidier than this, was half way through making hole)

Not sure if i like it here as the noise is not as nice and i am worried about stuff being sucked in. Emptied out the can today and a load of leaves and other S**T fell out  Hoping to make a proper cold air feed some time with some silicone bends and some ally piping :)

Beware of that position for the cold feed....when its raining, water will pass through the grille and into the intake pipe therefore into the filter!

Yeah i did think that might happen. Got it back down where it used to be now. Although i thought about getting one of those K&N water repellent socks they do for the typhoon kit and putting it over the end of the feed. Think ill just leave it where it was

Just buy the k&n typhoon mate it's an amazing kit and ticks all the boxes....

Getting one bodged up just won't work or be neat.....

It will be the best thing u have ever purchased, trust me lol... I well want the handbrake cover upgrade....

Tyhphoon is a lovely looking system, I have got both a CDA and Tyhpoon so can vouch for the quality on both systems.
I have only fitted the Typhoon on a half feed so its relatively quiet but i'm sure on the long feed it will sound alot nicer & deeper.

The BMC is a great kit but its really cheaply made when compared to the K&N Typhoon

I love my handbrake cover. Its possibly my favorite modification. 100 times better than the original in my opinion. Matches up perfectly with cloth interior.
