RE: Front Driver's Seat Airbag

Today my airbag light came on.

I noticed that the plastic clip which holds the airbag wire under the seat has come loose. And the airbag wire has become disconnected.

Obviously I don't want to blow the airbags so how do I go about reconnecting it? Can I do it with the battery connected or should I disconnect it?

One more question - will the airbag light clear itself once I reconnect or will I need to VAGcom it to get it to clear?
