Engine area refurb

Post by Gtiscott »

Hey guys. After driving my friends gti it has made mine feel loose? Can't explain it really.

Anyway i'm planning to refurb or replace everything in the engine bay except engine.

My list so far:

Clutch
Clutch cable
Driveshafts
Wishbones
Bushes
Pedel Box
Gearbox
ARB
Droplinks
Strut braces.

If you can think of anymore or where I can get this stuff, please let me know.

Also, if you're from the south: southerndubs.co.uk (Remove if not allowed to advertise)

Thanks

Tie rods and ARB bushes are a big player in how tight the front end feels. Mine felt massively different after those were changed

Wouldnt it be better to find out exactly why your car feels loose before replacing all of those parts?

Thhe above parts you have listed are going to cost a fortune and it may only be one or two parts that need replacing

I'm not sure about if they're uprated or not.
I do plan to change these parts as in the future I will be turboing the beast.
