Passenger footwell vent removal

Post by K.I.T.T. »

Whilst this is a bit of a longshot, but has anyone ever removed this on their car and if so how? I've removed the bottom half of the passenger's side dash and the glove compartment. There appears to be a single torx screw that secures the vent, but when unscrewed, I'm not able to remove it...

Will try and get pics later explaining my situation. Is there more than one screw? I don't want to really tug it as it still feels attached and I don't want to break it. The Haynes manual has instructions (vague) on how to remove the driver's side vent, but not the passengar's side...

Help!

Ash :)

FWIW, you give it a good upwards tug towards the left and then down. Sounded like it was gonna break, but it didn't. Brute force wins. I'll be writing a guide soon on how to fix the V68 temperature flap motor that has been plauging so many of you...I reckon it's an hours work tops.
