I must have looked at everything over the last 12 months and there have been plenty of candidates but I think the Type R will be a good choice for me.
I love S3's, R32's, Ibiza Cupra's, 9N3 GTI's etc but I want something a little less refined this time which is quick out of the box.

Type R cant compete in terms of comfort, accesories and driving comfort but they are very quick and handle like a dream.
For the time being that's all I want but I will return to the VAG scene in the future probably with an Audi S3 haha

The Polo has served me well and I do absolutely love it. I just feel if I dont sell it soon it will be worth next to nothing

Type Rs do seem like a hellova lot of fun. Would be a good choice!
But you would deff have to come back to VAG after tho ;)
My mates just got an 09 plate S3 and it's pretty awesome (tho I love the ed30s more ;) ) tho i have to say he's really really lucky he doesn't pay for his fuel!

Yeah everybody highly rates the Type R's as a fun car to drive :)
I cant afford one for a good few months yet but thats most certainly the car I want next, I just want something fast & simple for my next car and the Type R ticks all the boxes.

Type Rs are sooooooo popular though. Every Saxo and 106 owner upgrade to one, which puts me off then so much. Great cars though.

Also, they're not VAG :P

They are popular for a reason though :) unfortunately there are alot of idiots that own them too but that still doesnt put me off.
My mate has gone from a Fabia vRS to a Type R and he's never looked back, great little cars which show up alot of the more expensive hatchbacks.

Being Non VAG is a problem but i'll just have to get used to it :)

The MK4 Golfs dont do anything for me really, I really like the R32's but the insurance on one of those bad boys would be very pricey.

As for the 1.8T GTI's I would prefer a Ibiza Cupra, TT or S3 :)

Cant afford a MK5 Golf GTI but I do really like them

Well I want to get myself a Civic Type R sometime in the future but financially that isnt going to happen for quite sometime.

I still have some plans for the car because its still going to be in my possesion for a good amount of time.
First big job on the list is to get rid of the mongoose exhaust system and replace that with a powerflow hidden exhaust with a 200 cell sports CAT.

I want to get the bonnet & roof resprayed and touch up a few stone chips because it looks a bit rough in places.

That's about it for now, I would love a set of Ronal LS wheels too but I would need to get rid of atleast 2 sets of wheels first.

Its due a service now so I have got to replace quite a few bits in the next few days :)
