Measuring block 11 Tim. If it's remapped, it should be around 2200mbar (well, definitely over 2000mbar) at about 2200 RPM.

I really want to put the 9n3 front on my 9n, but it's too much hassle. Your pics aren't helping ;)

Yeah, the problem is finding a 9n3 in my colour. They don't exist. The 9n3 front-end parts aren't too expensive, the paint on the other hand...

Anyway, sorry for the hijack Tim!

Car's looking pretty good!

Really like the splitter on the front, I've had one in my garage waiting to be fitted for months now and those photos have definitely spurred me to get it on the car. GTi headlights are a must though!

Thanks mate! I've gone off the Cup look, it's a bit fussy if you ask me. I like the bluemotion skirts on the other hand 8)

Thanks mate. Not entirely sure what to do with that information, but I'll speak to my mate who can run vagcom and see if he knows what to do!

If you're serious PM me, otherwise I'll be stripping it soon!

Yeh would love some GTi headlights, if they're anything like the 6N2 ones I bet they carry quite a hefty price tag?!

The new car is looking great tim :) love the colour!

Be nice to see how it develops over the next couple of years 8)

I dont think any 9N3's have Xenons which is why people fit HID kits.

No they don't unfortunately!

I have some HID H1s lined up, just waiting to sort out a H7 kit before they all go one with LED sides and fogs. Can beat a crisp white light up front 8)

GTI headlamps can be had about £70 a side on the bay. Not particularly exciting though, just black non-reflective bits. They're not projector lenses like the 6n2.

Not sure why VW decided to take a step backwards with the attention to detail on some of the later Polo’s & Golf’s.
Xenon headlights were standard on the MK5 GTI and Lupo so it’s pretty bizarre that it wasn’t even an optional extra on the MK7. Crazy Stuff :?

Your HID kit will do the job nicely though :)

Yeh I've seen them before, subtle smoked look, they're nice 8)

Shame they didn't opt for Xenons. I've seen the aftermarket versions but they don't look so great IMO.

Quick update:

Is that a box full of HIDs? yes it is!

A set of H7 and H1 8). they'll go on in about two weeks when I have some time and my sidelights.

Car looks good man, I can't wait to see it machine polished.

Be a shame to see the GTi go, but you'll soon forget when you've had it all sorted...

blame me.. or thank me??

Won't be for a few weeks yet as I haven't the time! I'll probably do it in 4 stages though, like front end, rear and roof, then each side. Probably better that way as you pay more attention on each panel!
