...what wheels would you have on it?

Would you keep mine?

Or go for something more Euro?

Just curious! 8)

i dunno man, your wheels do look pretty sweet, always thought that from the few pictures ive seen of your car.

although, if i had the money it would have to be a set of ronal turbos (on mine at least) the ones that have the writing around them, think there the phase 2's (?)

It looks fine as is...... but basically i'd be just so made up to have such a great (and great looking) motor compared to the blue rustheap outside that i wouldn't dream of altering it..... at least for a couple months.

Still not 100% convinced white wheels always work on a polo (or mega shiny chromes and black ones - somewhat duller alloys from dark to light grey, and more diffuse mirrors like the ronals or pslots, much better) but with that paint scheme they go well :)

nah, I wouldn't change anything of such. Those alloys are what I would have chosen given the choice. How does the engine bay look? and the wing mirrors... Hmm then again it would loose the street sleeper stylie

I'm rather envious of yours with those wheels. They're pretty unique (well, I haven't seen another Polo with them!)

Thanks.

Karl.

At the moment I fancy getting the rims polished up, as they're a bit scuffed (to be expected after 4 years I guess). How much do you reckon that'd cost?

My engine bay, well, that used to look sweet:

But it looks s**t now, got primer dust and road grime everywhere, have had an oil leak on the rocker cover (now fixed but it's still dirty) and my airbox is back on. Can't be bothered keeping it clean, I do too many miles!

your car looks nice with them wheels,

but they do look motorsporty if ya know what i mean?

if you want euro look i would save up for some shmidt or ronal wheels,

or if you want practical wheels go for some nice plainer ones with a rim on!

hope that helps

I would have 14" wheels on if it was mine. Something like compomotive, OZ or RH Cups.

It's up to you Alex!

The car looks nice as it is. What about BBS RXIIs (Dipesh on Porka was selling some!) from the Polo GTI or some Ronal Turbos? (I know of a set for sale!)
