My dad bought some Mats from VW on Tuesday, they were £25 + VAT for the set.
Just the plain black VW mats but they look pretty good in fairness, its the same mats that are in my GTI.

There's a link somewhere on the last page of my thread to some tailored mats that could look close to original

Got some ambassador mats for my GTI when Jack owned it.
Got black, with the red around the edge.
You can have your own thing written on them if you like
So I got 'Jacks GTI'
But just GTI would look good :D
And they lasted ages! Really good quality!!

Decisions decisions... The link i gave apparently has the OEM fixings as well? I'd also thought though, surely you could buy the fixings separate from VW if needed and fit them yourself to the mats?
