I think they look good in all 3 colours to be honest, Silver is probably my least favourite of the 3 but thats not to say I dont like them.
Silver with some gloss black here and there really does work well
Its the best colour to have if you want to mix & match paint or vinyl, it doesnt seem to work as well on the Red & Black Polos

Re: Jimmy's Gti **Progress Thread** SMALL UPDATE
Finally got round to buying a few bits and bobs for her and gave it a good clean inside and out with a T Cut and Polish
First on the shopping list was gti front bumper just need to find a 6n2 rear bumper for cheap and was thinking a boot as well
to smooth saves me taking it off the road
Pressed plates (still cant believe i didnt buy these the day i bought the car
)

few picks after my first proper "sun out" wash and polish (only for it to rain the next morning
)
sorry about pic sizes still learning

and finally the tow strap need to find a better pick as only just realised its not str8 but you get the point shouts out to trottagti for the
inspiration (sorry mate had to steal the ideas from somewere lol
)

got it dirty as i was fitting it so thought it would be an idea to give it a quick clean with a cloth and colour ran of it
so guess im going to have to get another one may go for different colour hmmm??
also if anyone can help im not too happy with the stance of the whole car wanting to drop the coilies on my own but dont know were to start
i have the spanner do i need drop links? are there any guides or tips as i cant find any or should i just stop being stingy and pay someine to do it??
advice anyone????

its incredibly abrasive and it doesnt break down like proper polish like Autoglym SRP for example when you work it into the paint

Re: Jimmy's Gti **Progress Thread** SMALL UPDATE PG2
Its basically paint stripper lol
Avoid using it if you can mate, its aimed mainly for cars with faded paintwork but shouldnt be used as a polish.

Re: Jimmy's Gti **Progress Thread** SMALL UPDATE PG2
You will be alright using it a couple of times but its not meant to be used as a polish.
Its more of a paint restorer but in doing so cuts through the paint.

Toe strap ftw lol.....
Like it like it.... Erm tcut as polish is ok for the first time to remove any surface swirls and scratches but it's more a cutting compound.. U would be hard pushed to actually remove this clear over base paint....
As for your stance... Dropping it will only give you 1/3 of your stance needs that being the lowness.
2/3 is your poke being spacers and how much your wheels are out by..
3/3 is your camber, wheel tops pointing in or like me being helaflush and running dead inline with the wings and stretch tyres to finish of course.....
That is true stance ha....
Colour code your lower splitter dude will look better, way better...
