Have you contacted Balance Motorsport reference the Rear ARB's mate?

No worries if you havent, we only have 5 names down at the moment which isnt enough but it would nice to know what discount they can offer on a group buy. There may be price breaks on certain quantities so it would be good to know what kind of numbers we need to qualify for a price reduction.

If you want me to contact them then just let me know :)

Not yet Ben. I wanted to make sure we had enough names BEFORE contacting them... and also make sure they're established members... not someone who signed up yesterday with 1 post who we may never hear from again.

I've never contacted a company about a group buy before so have NO idea what I'm supposed to say

It'd be nice to get 10 but I can't see it... 8 feels more achievable, especially since we have 6. We just need to find 2 members and bully them

I have been trying to bully a few people into getting one but they donyt seem to be falling for it :(

Yeah mate your right it is best to contact them once we have the full list of names, I still think we aim for 10 though.
Joe posted the group buy thread in the MK5 Section so hopefully that will generate some interest.

Another option would be to post it on SeatCupra.net and display it in the MK3 Ibiza section, i'm sure some of the Cupra lads would be interested.

Just contact Balance and say something like "This is Nigel from UK-Polos.net we have a list put together of 10 people wanting to purchase a Whiteline Rear ARB, what kind of discounted price can you offer on a Group Buy of that quantity"

We know it will 100% fit and they actually have an account on UK Polo's so it should be relatively easy.

IMO they dont look as good as the genuine article as the reflector is a different design, plus they have DEPO stamped in them

I'll get you some comparison pictures later... to be honest, unless you're Alex ( :P ), you won't see a great deal of difference

Not really a lot of difference at all... definitely look a lot newer than the old ones (goes without saying). Just gotta polish up the headlights now to match :)
