My 6n Project
Well im new here and i've seen a few of these "project threads" on here so i thought i would start my own, bought my polo last week with 48k on the clock, its a 1.4cl and have some small touches i want to do to make it look how i want.
here is the car as it stands now:
first thing im gonna do is just small things like:
remove the side bump strips
debadge the boot
touch up the small patch of rust on the rear left arch
then hopefully going to get some:
g60 steels
coilovers
16v bumpers
tinted lights
6n2 rear lights
de wiper
debadged grill
and we will see how it will go from there
heres a quick photoshop i did to show the lights and grill
EDIT: Anyone know how i can make the pictures smaller?

Kept your headlights white it looks better, are you going to get clear indicators as well ?
Where you de badged the back of your car I take it your gonna remove the marks that were left.

Yea, decided on keeping them white mabe getting a subtle tint on them and getting clear side indicators but not he front ones as I really dislike how they look.
And any tips on removing it? I've t cuted it and polished it a silly amount and it dosnt want to match in, gonna get my friend to properly polish my whole car so hopefully it might come out when he flats it

Re: My 6n Project
So your gonna have
white headlights maybe with a tint
white side repeaters
orange indicators
and 6n2 rear lights
Your not a fan of these then

Yep that's the plan, and no really dislike them. I've seen a couple of them on green polo's and just think it makes the front end just look to plain and white

Re: My 6n Project
I like the orange, think it has a nice contrast with the green, got some crystal side repeaters today but think I might keep the orange. If it was any other colour I would ge both white but I really like the orange and green

Re: My 6n Project
Finally some updates, just been collecting stuff over the last 6 months waiting for my insurance to renew now have got some lows on the go (well half low at the moment) and some recaros in. This week should be a busy one and hopefully by the end of it the polo will look very different
Firstly I put a set of Mk3 golf Recaro's in
and am now fitting coilovers, but only had time to do rears :p
think its about 100mm drop but forgot to measure :/ tyres arnt scrubbing which is nice but i think something is knocking the exhaust
