Need some advice/help

Got my self some gti dash clocks and was wondering do i need to calibrate them with my car or can I plug them straight in and they will work ?

I think they may need some adjustment because of the different rev counter, I could be wrong though.

How come you didnt just put the chrome surrouds around your clocks mate?

The little GTI clock is a nice little touch though :)

Thats What i'm thinking ben but i do like the little gti clock =) hehe

If it's abit to tricky then i will just swap them over .. :(

I'm sure it can probably be done but it could prove to be a lot of hassle.

I think your Polo probably has a digital clock on the Speedo so I do understand why you want to switch them across.
The GTI has a digital temp gauge on the speedo so you could probably switch the Speedo's without too many issues and then fit the little GTI clock.

As for the rev gauge its probably easier to just switch over the surrounds.
Yours probably hits maximum revs at around 6250-6500 whereas the GTI is 7K

Hope this helps mate, I'm sure Alex will know if its possible :)

Ye helps loads ben thanks pal :D and it revs to about 6.5k mite jsut change the surround over 8) or just get a gti engine lol !!

Just went for it ben and everything works =) and it only rev's to 5.5k lol so poo

only thing that dont is the digital temp sensor =(

Awesome stuff mate 8)

Get some pics up mate, your interior must look awesome now. Colour concept interior is way better than the GTI.

You just need to order yourself a 1.8T engine now fella
