Power Steering Fluid. What type?

Hi, I was checking through my handbooks on the VW GTI last night as I noticied I was getting low on Power Steering fluid when I checked it (cold).

I cannot find any reference in these (technical, maintenance sections etc) that indicates what fluid I should be using. :?

There is no reference to filling it up either as there is for engine oil, anti-freeze etc in the manuals so I guess they forgot to include this? :shock:

Can anyone tell me what type I should be using please? :)
