245 for tax for 12 months or 146 for 6 months, just done mine today,

Nippy as standard
Quick at stage 1
Rapid at stage 2
Lunacy at stage 3

If your local I'll take you for a blast in mine, so you can get a feel for it, nothing I have driven or been in gives such a driving experience as the 20vt polo GTi, it's a road legal go kart

As for clutches, mine was remapped from having only 9 miles on the clock and the clutch lasted to 24k miles of hard driving before it started to show slight signs of slipping, when I upgraded it

Remap is £350 for a REVO map, but there on offer at the moment for £250 (Stage 1)

Stage 2 is £50 extra, plus whatever needs doing (FMIC, 4 bar fuel regulator etc)

My car is out of action at the moment for a couple of days because im in the middle of fitting coilovers otherwise I could take you for a quick blast in mine. Im in Liverpool

Im only running stage 1, de-cat, K&N Cone Filter, Forge 007p Dump Valve - Not sure what Jeff is running, might be stage 2, you might want to see where he is based first!

Should have the coilies sorted by tomorrow hopefully! Just a droplink is being a pain in the arse!

so what is yours running then mate with those mods?

What coilovers have you gone for as i think it would be the first thing i would do as the wheel gap makes me cringe haha

tell em about it i have had that problem on many of the cars i have had its a pisser!

I would only be going stage 1 as its my daily commuter and wouldnt want to have a worse fuel bill than my mini

What MPG are you getting from yours? Where abouts are you in Liverpool?

Cheers Matey :D :D

if its MPG your after mate i'd really consider sticking to stage1!

the 4bar fpr really shags it up!

unless you get the SPS controller to turn the map off and on!

Yeah i think i will be sticking with the Stage 1 as the petrol would kill me! My drive to work is only 7 miles but its stop start all the way and i have heard that is bad for the polo's mpg anyways! I have heard that Stage 1 is fast enough anyways....Revo quote 210 bhp and about 240lbf of torque? is that right as it seems odd to get an increase of 60bhp from juts a map?

are you stage 1 or 2 mate....what are you opinions?

cheers

It's more like 190bhp-200bhp for Stage 1 REVO buddy. It's pretty quick at Stage 1, I don't think the additional cost to get it to Stage 2 is worth the money for the extra power you get...

yeah that seems to be the figures people are getting! I think that is plenty for me as it will probs still seem quick compared to the mini as thats 170bhp but rather heavy haha

As for stage 2 i dont think its for me!

Not had an official printout but I'm guessing it's around 200 BHP

I am fitting Bilstein B14 coilovers I bought from a guy on this forum, should be sweet when I get it all sorted

I'm in the prescot area, not sure how far that is from you?
