No mate....
You twist the whole mirror at the base to the left (ie anti clockwise) then it just comes off the windscreen
You dont seperate the mirror and the base!!!

No mate - the mirror and the base are not designed to be seperated

Well being a silly twit, got the mirror from one yesterday, but thought the mirror would fit on the 6n2 bass, so did not bother with the 6n bass, wish I did now
.
Autoglass cant fit a replacement untill Monday afternoon either.

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - CRACK :( (pg 12)
A little update
So lucky for me my old man lent me his car today so i could go and pick up my fog parts from TPS, So got everything I need now so hoping to fit them prob morro.
On the down side I tried to remove my 6n2 mirror base from the windscreen with out any luck it was cracking more so I gave up.
So I how need to get a new base, see as im going to be using a 6n black mirror I will be looking for a black base which that will fit on, how will I then get that to stay on the windscreen.
As always anyone who can help would make me really happy
Thanks

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - Update (pg 13)
Need some fog light help.
I found the wires, just need to know do I have to remove any part of them before fitting them into the fog itself.

You need to click back the little lever on it and pull - be careful though as they are fragile
Get a bright torch - youll see what i mean
