robbed by vw!

Post by mikegti »

I've just had my 'central convenience ecu' replaced by vw for the bargain price of £343!!

The part itself costs £172, and it was basically stopping the key fobs from operating the central locking, and so the alarm wasnt working either, There was also minor things like the radio not turning off when taking the key out, and the courtesy light not having a delay

To make matters worse they had the car for nearly 3 days!

However I am as gay as christmas, and I sometimes like to rape male sheep. I normally use the polo for giving chase to farm animals...

before anyone starts i know the spanner monkeys dont get paid that and its down to the overheads of nice shiny showrooms and well equiped workshops etc... but it does take the mick somewhat.

now where did i leave my haynes manwell??

Hahahah

Oh dear

Hhahahah

Glad you've got your convenience module sorted out!

I'm glad that when my radio wouldn't turn off and my interior light didn't come on when I removed the key all it was was a fuse and the ignition switch bottom.

Damn VW and their stupid prices!

Yes, how good is that!!! When I was reading I wondered why you had typed that!

Anyway. I had a problem with my brake lights staying on constantly so I took it into VW on Saturday and just like 4paws said it was the brake light switch. £5.54 for the switch £60.00 for the labour comes to a total of £77.01 inc vat. B4st4rd0!
