Climatronic Flashing?

On start my climatronic display flashes for a few seconds before displaying the climate data, why is this so?

I think its in shock that i asked it to blow cold air out for once.

Weird, mine isn't flashing but seems to click a few times when I first start up...

That means its got a fault and needs diagnostics

Spent the last 3 weeks putting everything that was wrong right, now i get a fault with the air con, which is going to be something i can't fix by myself

Any common failure modes for the air con?

Probably needs regassing...thats quite common

get it VAGCOM'd

I'm praying its the re-gassin and thats all!

I'm in fear of a pandora's box worth of error codes spewing out though!

Can't be as bad as when alex did mine! Airbag, alarm, immobiliser and aircon!

Mine flashes too! I think mine needs re gassing tho!

Regassed and fine, now i've said that'll break, as with everything on my car at the moment
