Mat fitting

Post by smallman28 »

I have those little turn fixings in my Polo that are used to fix the mats down.
The only problem is one of them has the top "turn" piece missing.
Does that mean that I have to remove the whole thing to replace it or is there a fix without doing that?
Its this type although this one does have the "turn" piece on it.

I dont see why you shouldnt be able to just change it, have you had the carpet up to see whats underneath? im sure its probably just glued on in some way?

Aren't the mats rubber backed anyway? I always thought they wouldn't move much even without the clips, just VW covering all bases :D
