Make sure you dont apply any collinite to the bumper till a few months have passed. Its important you dont seal the paint with wax or itll 'blossom' and the finish will go all funny

I thought it was about 30 days to let the new paint "air out". I'm waiting before giving mine some HD waxing all over.

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - Bumper (pg 17)
Little Update
Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze, Collinite 476s and Poorboys Ultra Mega Towel all came yesterday.
Will the Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze cover/remove scratches ?
Also got myself a machine polisher, wont be using that untill I have checked out the websites I have been told about and watched some videos on youtube.
As I said before the bumper is going to be resprayed on Tuesday all being well.
Then my MOT is due soon to (Fingers crossed it will pass no probs)
I know I need two front tyers soon but been told they should be fine untill after the MOT.

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - Update (pg 17)
Yes black hole contains some fillers, which will hide some of the smaller scratches, but machine polishing done right can remove about 90% of them.

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - Bumper Update (pg 17)
Major Problem, really need some help.
So my M.O.T is due on Thursday but my driver seat has gone crazy.
When you sit in the seat and lean back the left hand side goes back really far, and when you pull the handle up to lift the seat, the left hand side of the seat wont come up as easy as the right hand side and you need to kind of lift/pull it with abit of force. When the seat comes up towards the streeing wheel its not coming up righ. The right hand side of the seat comes up alot more then the left hand side.
I aint sure what is wrong and how to fix it before the M.O.T.
Really do need some help badly.
Thanks
P.S I hope it makes sense.

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - MAJOR Problem (pg 17)
i had a seat go haywire in an old clio of mine. ur best option is prob to hit a scrapyard, even just for the mot while you sort your seat out. i know this isn't much help but if you r badly pushed for time with the mot a seat swap may be ur best bet.
