anyone have any luck fitting? ive done all sorts of searches and it says not for 6Q type

anyone confirm? or anyone who can fit and code if i buy them a crate or 4?? lol

I have done this on mine too, bought my kit for Kufatec and enabled it with VAG-Com

This is the kit I bought (With the multi-function display)

The guide I followed was in german but I used google translate to get it to english, was pretty straight forward to be honest, much easier than I was expecting

Is this a plug and play kit or is soldering etc required? Does it have to be activated using VAG Com??

It needs to be spliced into the rear fog light wire from the fuse box, other than that its plug and play.

It does need activating with VAG-Com

I do not tap into any ther wiring as I use genuine looms in order to fit as it means that everything remains factory and no Bodge jobs! If you get a list of people together then I would be inclined to do a discount! I am supposed to be doing chris meardons soon (his gti is currently at mine as my dad is changing his cambelt and replacing with genuine parts for 180 quid!) but if you get a group then it means I can order the parts and get everyones polos together to do it as a job lot!
