Hi,
I have upgraded to a set of 15" OEM alloys and the tyre size is 195/55/15.
My original alloys were 185/60/14 and the spare wheel is a full size steel wheel 185/60/14. Can i continue to use this spare wheel even though the alloys on the car are 195/55/15?
Also i would like to find out from other fellow drivers that have 15" OEM alloys on their Polo, what size is your spare wheel and is it a steel wheel or an alloy?
Thanks
What size is your spare wheel?

Re: What size is your spare wheel?
The 9N Polos had a full sized steel wheel - ie same size as the alloys, when 15" alloys were factory fitted. Although I did end up buying a 5th alloy wheel for my wife's Polo. Maybe keep an eye on VW Driver and ebay to see if a 5th alloy, same as you have, comes up. I'd avoid using that small spare for obvious reasons, although, quite a lot of cars do get a "-1" " spare - my daughters 2009 Ibiza SC has 16" alloys but a 15" steel spare - but the manufacturer (Seat) will have worked ut that they can handle any flack if the legal eagles get nasty - in your case, that is a task that you will be left to sort out on your own.

Hey RUM4MO
Thanks for the reply, I have actually been thinking of getting a 5th alloy as a spare and I've seen some about on eBay. Cheers
