9n3 Polo / Passat Rear-Wiper Keeps fouling the spoiler

I bought wiper arm, cap & aero wiper from TPS, and having fitted it, it works fine until the aero wiper hits the gti spoiler, then it just flicks over and down the other side.. So its basically fouling the spoiler. Ideas?!

You can slide the wiper about in the part that attaches to the arm. Just slide it down a bit to make it a little shorter.

That doesnt seem to work. The damn thing seems like its glued on.

It is pretty tough as when you finally manage to slide it you'll see it sat nicely into two grooves.Takes abit of muscle to shift it but Nigel is right the blade just needs sliding down.

Flat-edge screwdriver & back of ratchet > muscles. Thanks guys!
