I'm running the arm and blade off the new Scirocco. It's only about 5 mm shorter than the stock one. But boy what a difference it makes. :)

Another small update.

Got a Dealership tax disc holder as my other was looking abit tatty.

Also installed my MFD RNS unit.Managed to source a very clean one with the latest version software,i thought it finished the dash off quite well.I will have to play around with the GPS aerial and will sometime in the near future install and Auxillary 3.5 port possibly on one of the blankers near the rear screen heater button. This will be used in conjunction with an aftermarket media box to play/view my iPod and videos.

Out with the old cubby hole and Blaupukt Gamma unit.

In with the Blaupukt MFD.

You running the new 2011 maps on that?

I think it takes travelpilot DX discs from memory?

Thankyou chaps.

Alex they may possibly work i couldn't tell you at the moment.Im just running a Tele Atlas 2008 copy. Will try and wangle a copy of a 2010-11 map if i can source one. It's not bad for it's age, going to resit the GPS aerial next weekend i think towards the top of the underside of the vents/hazard switch to gain a slightly less obstructed position.

Thankyou everyone,im quite pleased with it.

Yesterday i took the centre part of the dash out and resited the GPS Aerial to a better located.Has worked and is picking up more satellites than before which is great. Also programmed up properly so the timing is much better between where i am and the position on the map.
