My car smells of egg on start-up :oops:

Probably best not to have a curry the night before fella...... :lol:

I have heard of this problem before, I think (bad memory) that Chris had a similar problem (Godderz23).
Alex will know for sure, he's an encyclopedia of Polo knowledge :)

That smell is either your old a/c gas, will need topping up/regassing or possibly a loose connection on your cat mate.

Mines smells eggy as I have no cat now, just the fumes.....

Mine used to do it when i had a cat, but only every now and then.

Hasnt done it since i ditched the cat off

It can even be gone off washer fluid - that absolutely stinks when it goes off.

How old is the cat? Old ones, or ones that are very low milage can smelly eggy...

It began soon after I removed the thermostat.....have I fooked my cat??!!

Yep, smelly washer fluid was my issue- i think it was leaking from somewhere aswell..

My dog made a right stink yesterday. Might be worth checking you've not got a Boxador on your back seat that you haven't noticed
