I also agree im afraid - do not put GTI badges on a 1.0. Its almost insulting to the people who own real GTIs mate

Yeah i know i shouldnt of really put it on, but i wanted to get rid of the holes and it was the easiest option for now. ill probably end up taking the lettering off and putting my own thing there, so its only temporary. And i did stop myself from putting on the rear one because i did think it would look a bit stupid on, gti badge on a 1.0

I've got one if you want mate? One of the clips on the back is broken but it will still clip in secure?!

Looks very nice mate bar the GTI badges

Anybody with relative car knowledge will know it’s not a GTI too which would just be embarrassing for me if I was driving it round.

Like everything else you have done with it though :)

Re: Jack's Blue 6n2: Lamin-x!

Post by JackClap »

Well the lamin-x arrived this morning so i was straight out putting it on, its yellow tinted to sort of suit the "euro" look :)
I quoted around £35 for a specialist to do it, but i saw how easy it was and done it myself for £9 :D

Good idea, but im sorry I dont like it. I seen it on a car around here and hated it from the moment I seen it.

Its not the idea I hate, Its the yellow tint I hate. But dont worry as long as you like it, thats the main thing, dont listen to me what do I know
