17" Boavista Alloys
Re: 17" Boavista Alloys
Can it be fitted with an adapter of some sort? Though i think the ET is quite a bit off.
Re: 17" Boavista Alloys
Et is 45mm, which will be fine with adapters. 20mm adapters would leave the offset at 25mm and they would sit nice and wide at the arch.
Ebay has them at £399 + P&P for the wheels only, price in a set of tyres and PCD adapters and your up close and personal to £1k !!!!!

Don't know why, but I cant see 18" wheels on a Polo being problem free (speed bumps, full lock turning etc...)
Re: 17" Boavista Alloys
With the right size tyres, shouldn't be any different to 17" !!
Apart from the ride will suffer due to reduced side walls. But I doubt it will be that noticeable. Each to their own I suppose.
My point was, why spend all that money on some nice alloys, when they aint gonna improve the looks of the car (Not in 15"), and thats the main reason for swapping the alloys (to improve the looks).

Re: 17" Boavista Alloys
Might need to factor in lowering springs/coilovers too. It might he as high as a 4x4 with 18's lol
Re: 17" Boavista Alloys
LOL.
Unfortunately in standard guise the POLO is already like a 4x4 no matter what size wheels you throw at it.
Lowering is obligatory when fitting sexy new alloys IMO !!!!!!!

Re: 17" Boavista Alloys
Hi guys,
On the topic of the Boavista alloys, i've had a photo of my Polo photoshopped to see what i'd look like if I got the Boavista's refurbed with a gloss black finish. What do you think?
