The better coil pack was around £35

And the better HT leads I think were £40 for all 4

You will need a number 5 Allen key to change the coil pack :D the bloke at GSF let me use theirs so I changed it in thier car park lol.

Try just the coil pack first as that was my problem and your symptoms sound the same as I had, an that is definatley more than I paid ! A he'll of a lot more I'm certain of it I bought mine just before Xmas.

Yeah he said they shot up after the new year as it's an older car so no need to be stocking them as much :/
VW said themselves when I rang them to try else where, they quoted me £114 for coil and £17.50 per leads, I didnt even ask if that was before VAT.

Happy days though as all is well, no judder as yet!
Just need to delete my check light now :)

try the coil pack first as i think that may solve it cause these parts are electrical they are non returnable, once coilpack is changed go for a test run and if problem persists then get new leads,

make sure you take a number 5 allen key :D
