It was just under a grand mate    But it had to be done.

For genuine VAG parts I use vagparts.com ([email protected]) and depends what you are looking for for other stuff.
I will gather a list of sites with 9N stuff for ya when I get time ok mate.

I'll second that it will look phat!! I've also had a quote from my VW man and it sounds about the same price just under a grand a painted too, which is good! I'm defo getting a body kit as basically it is essential.

As VW lowering does not really lower it, as I was told, going ot spend money on alloys then kit....problem is I hate waiting for stuff...although they do say 'good things come to those who wait' 8)

Yeh I also hate waiting for stuff, but it would be boring if it was all done at once! I've done it in stages, but more recently I've done loads at once because I couldn't be bothered to wait any longer!

Yeh I reckon it will indeed look phat when it's done, at least I hope it does :D

I know what you mean, it is more fun doing mods ins stages. I did the following:

- 18's MM Evo alloys
- Eagle F1s
- H&R Strings
- Tints
- Decided not to do the engine

Can't wait to do the same to my Polo over the 3 years. :D

I'm still not sure about the badge, one minute I like it, the next I think I should leave it off. Wait and see!

Anyway, here's a few pics of me trial ftting the front spoiler earlier on today.

This is all looking very interesting - can't wait to see the result!!

Question though - are you going through with getting the rubbing strips colour coded??

I know the spolier and the skirts will have to be painted, but what about this:

with the black rubbing strip and the black material - this looks really good against your silver, IMHO.

Just a thought - I guess everything needs painted, but what about painting this front section black (or am I completely barking up the wrong stylistic tree here )??

Deek.

very nice molio as for the huge gap in the front bumper it looks like it could make a good home for an inter cooler :P and in not 100% on this but next to the foglight position there is a large gap which you could use to make some kind of air intake as in that position it you hooked a hoe up to it then onto a closed filter and then on to the throttle body you could get some ram effect which would be the equivelent of a very low pressure turbo at high speeds and also i dont think theres a place on the car that gets such a cold charge of air and since cold air is benificial to power then this would be an ideal place to get a cold air feed even if the other end of the tube is pointing at a cone filter

Mole...You must either work for VW/know s*** loads about cars or be simply very, very brave!

If I was to do/try doing this mod for myself and got to this stage I would have a nervous breakdown and cary!

dxg, I think I am gonna get them done, but I was thinking of leaving them black, as they seem to go well against the silver and with the black windows, but I think everything has to be coded.
I honestly can see where you are coming from with the front bumper being black, but I think it's going to have to go silver!

Polo2k - Yes, I thought the same thing! :D Also thought of the air intake :) Make one of those side vents feed a pipe to either, as you say, a closed filter or just pointing at a cone, but I like the idea of closed filter.

And Ballyhoo, I'm simply very brave! No experience as such, just good with things like that. Took me a while to work out how to remove the bumper, but easy peasy once I'd worked it out.

Just need to find out if the spray shop will want the kit on or off for spraying. I took a piece of it in to them today and they said it was very good quality stuff, not like some of the s*** that the nova drivers bring in to them and they spend 2 days preparing, how I laughed! He wants to see the whole lot, to see what sorta coverage it is, then he'll give me a price. Also for the mirrors/handles and rubbing strips. Cash job again :D
