I'm fairly new here, and have recently got myself a 6N2, bought last week with 55k on the clock, I thought it was a bargain! 2 days ago the Engine Management Light came on, and I noticed a massive increase in fuel consumption..
I got my mate to check it out with a Telemetry Viewer and the verdict is
P0107 Bank 1- System too Lean
Now I have looked at a couple of other forums and seen people have said this was related to sensor failures, but if its using so much more fuel.. Can it be?
I am just after some advice if anyone has had the same problem and knows whether its a job I can do myself or I have to pay VW to do!
Hope you can help
Cheers
Ed

Not 100% on this but if your Lambda sensor is shot,it could be telling the ECU that the mixture is too lean and therefore chucking more petrol in to compensate?
