Not really an f.u. at all, I just don't see the need nor point for an everyday city driver to spend in excess of grands to improve something I spend less than a hour a day in, I'd rather improve my house, plus it's money I doubt you will see back, it's not an investment it's an overall loss...
You know what I'd actually rather do that oil conversion so my car runs on used oil than petrol at least if I kept the car over a long period I'd see some kind of financial gain,

this guy is speaking utter sense!
it really is not worth the waste of time or money and the point of not being able to drive the car for ages anyway... and if something goes wrong it will take longer to fix https://www.youtube*.com/watch?v=4p6JCog9PS0 evo engine in a polo with 4wd!
lol there are always threads like this rolling about but it never gets done... someone on here said he bought a tdi and was going to put a 3.0 v6 tdi engine in it as far as im aware that never happened... why not just buy yourself a newer, faster out of the box car mate?
see im 19, im still attending college and working 2 different jobs part time. I'm saving. I'm waiting for my insurance to go down.
in the mean time im studying the knowledge, theoretically in 3 good years of character building, learning cars stuff. and growing up (i really need that part :[ .) im going to have two potential jobs, and most likely a stable job.
and because atm i quite like driving and mate tbh if you dont feel it young i dont see any other time to feel it, so im just thinking ahead.
Im doing it to this car because it was the prize between which sibling could pass first. Thought it would be cool to start a legacy and pass it down to a sweet child of mine.
^^ this should really go n my profile!!.
:] and i like turtles
yeah basically, just dont have the money, knowledge and space.
lol your younger than i thought, you even dare declare anything like a 1.8t lump your insurance is going through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if u dont put it on the v5 and get caught say goodbye to your sweet little pink card friend...
okay g_humm has spent too... but yorks and vlad still miles top of the league dudes...
Aint a competition on how much you spend, as long as you are happy with the car.
one of my dads mates has still got his mk2 escort 1600 sport (same one he had when he was my age) fully tuned and will anally rape most cars, i just think it would be funny having my polo that long and possibly spending enough over the years to make it p*** all over most other cars in the future
