I started getting a missfire and when driving my polo started to feel sluggish i have now replaced the coilpack/ht leads and spark plugs it now not miss firing as bad but still a little when stood still bit sluggish when driving unless i start it and leave it to warm up then its fine

Also (dont know if this matters??) temp sensor went so ordered one from vw so taken sensor out to stop it overheatine would this be the reason for the missfire??

That could cause it

If not that, change the fuel filter and have the car scanned for faults - it could be a lambda sensor or a cam sensor
