European Driving

Post by Silky V »

Quick question,

Does anyone know if the headlights can be adjusted for european driving?

ie. Is there a switch for the headlights?

Or do I have to buy the stickers?

Thanks for your help guys

You can go the sticker route- but if you have access to Vagcom, you can change the adjustment of the headlights completely

Yeah got VAGcom but don't think this is possible with it. I'll have a look tomorrow.

I have the vag machine and i've just realsised that it's not possible to change them. Thinking about it it further I can't change right-hand drive headlights to left-hand drive with the machine or Vag Com. The only thing I can probably do is adjust the level.

The only other alternative would have been if there was a lever within the headlight.

When dark, park your car facing a wall with the headlights on ,and by trial and error mask parts of the lens until you find the left high bit and with some insulation tape (or whatever) cover that section ....
