How did everyone install their custom dials?
I have been weighing up fitting custom dials, but don't know how the needle comes off any of the dials, and how you manage to cut the holes for the windows on the tacho, as well as removing the little needle stops on the tacho, rev counter and fuel and temp gauges. Any advice would help greatly, as it seems a simple enough job, but I'm not one for making a bodge of it.

if your using the one's I agave u Karl then:
1) Pop them all in word and it should size them correctly for you
2) Print and cut them out
There are black spaces which you have to cut out with a good sharpe craft (or something simular) knife.
3) Take the dials out using these instructions
4) Unscrew the scres on the back of your new clocks, do take the lighting off (the white plastic thing going accross the top of the clocks beinhd them otherwise you likley to do what i did and break the green strip running from the board to the lights.
5) Take the dials off, the clocks by using your hands and a pair of plyers for the speedo one because it's a biatch to get off

At this stage you can paint the dials if you like, red looks the best colour IMO. take the screws out of the dials, and places on top the cut out backings. Note where the black holes are and line them up.
Take them off again and make the holes bigger so that the needles can move freely.
Put the screws back on with the new backing plates.
When it comes to putting back the needles the rev counter rests at the 0, so put it back in line with the and the temp and fuel gauges are dead easy (I dont know why they didnt make the other two like this) in that they have grooves in them so you can only put them on correctly, if u get what I mean.
The bi tch comes when you do the speedo needle, you have to place it at exactly 0mph (what a minute there isnt 0mph on the speedo?). Just measure the space between 10 and 20 mph and go that distance to find 0mph.
