Rear Disc conversion
Rear Disc conversion
My mate wants to know how hard it is to convert from Drum to disc. I looked at his and mine, and the beams are the same. All fitment is there so is it a case of take everything drumwise off the back oh his and replace with caliper stuff??

I thought the rear beams were different? Can't comment for certain, but a couple of rear disc conversions I've read of involved swapping the entire rear beam over.
On another note, what trick bits did you get from the US?

you got wait ash just some bits to go beyond 220hp
and when i looked at them i could see beam has mounts for drums or discs as had both in the air.
gonna see if vw can shed some more light on it see if they are the same part number if they are then they must be the same.
will do some hunting about.
