Fun/Dune Bumpers*

Post by kristafari »

hey has anyone tried putting a Fun rear bumper on a regular polo?

im thinking, yeah the rear votex bumper is subtle but a lil boring.

Just would like to know peoples opinion on a rear fun bumper with votex kit (jus to try something new) ...of course smoothed in bodywork

I don't think dune bumpers will work as they have those extension bits on the side for the wheel arch trims, so unless you add those it'll look a bit stupid. And once you add the wheel arch trims, you'd need the side skirts. Then you'd also need the front wheel arch trims. Oh and finally the front bumper  Chain reaction. Look at this pic and you'll see what I mean:

i was thinking just the rear, painting the two vents on either side the same as the rest of the bodywork and leaving the silver bit at the bottom.

i dont think the wheelarches will be a problem as im intending to get my wheel arches flared out anyway

im thinking maybe to just get one of the Dunes instead. Roof rack appeals to me, may turn it into some kind of grand tourer
